This unit is aimed at pharmaceutical representatives and covers the provision of medicines in the National Health Service related to the treatment of cancers.
Learners will understand the biology and risk factors associated with cancers. They will understand the classification of tumours and the clinical aspects of cancers and the range of treatment options available on the NHS.
This unit is assessed by a multiple choice exam made up of 50 questions, lasting 45 minutes. Passing it will gain you 5 credits.
Please note that the content in section 4.2.4 of Volume 1 of the learning materials regarding the use of statistics in medicine may be examined in all other units. You should bring a calculator to all exams.
