You must be outside the entrance to the exam room 30 minutes before the start of your exam, i.e. 09:30 for a 10:00 start or 13:30 for a 14:00 start, for a briefing and ID check.
Morning exams begin at 10:00 and afternoon exams begin at 14:00.
The morning session comprises 4 exams, you can split your time across them as you wish. The total time for the four papers is 2 hours 40 min; the morning session usually finishes at around 12.40pm.
The afternoon session usually finishes at around 4.15pm. Again you can split the time across the two or three unit papers you are taking. Unit 6 is a 90 min paper, the other units are 45 minutes.
The exam questions consist of multiple choice questions with four options and one correct answer. Answers are filled in by hand onto an optical mark reader form that will be read by a machine.
You may not remove any exam papers from the examination venue.
The ABPI doesn't provide lunch, however all venues have a cafe where you can purchase refreshments. Food must not be taken into the hotels.
Full instructions will be given by the invigilator on the day of the exam, however if you have any questions in advance please
