Edition 8 learning manual

The current edition of the learning materials is Edition 8. We have now come to the end of our phase out period for Edition 7 and from January 2018, some ABPI exam questions will only be answerable from the Edition 8 learning manuals.

The paper-based learning materials are not subject to VAT; however VAT is payable on e-learning. This will be added to the cost of e-learning before you are asked to make a payment for your basket.

2019 Code of Practice

The PMCPA have updated the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry for 2021. This is effective from July 2021. 
During the transition period from the 2019 to 2021 ABPI Code of Practice, all Unit 1 Questions on the Code of Practice are compatible with both the 2019 and 2021 published versions. During this period, it should not matter whether candidates have read the 2019 or 2021 version, all questions will be answerable from either version. 


From 01 July 2021, some questions will only be answerable from the 2021 Code of Practice on the new provisions of the 2021 Code.

Edition 8 learning manuals for the accredited ABPI Exam £155.00
All the information you need to learn for the ABPI Exams (mandatory and optional units) is published by ABPI. When you order the Edition 8 learning manuals you will receive a pack containing two learning manuals (one covering mandatory units, the other optional units) together with the current version of the Code of Practice. The information on NHS for Unit 1 has been incorporated into this edition of the learning manual. If there are any changes to the NHS before you take your Unit 1 exam a revised version will be sent to you by email approximately four weeks before you are booked to sit Unit 1.

ABPI e-learning is an optional product for candidates studying for the Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in the promotion of medicines (accredited exam). Once you have purchased this product you will receive log in details (within 1 working day) for our online platform containg e-learning, useful links, downloads and a mock exam for each unit. This learning material does not replace the paper learning manuals.
